Power Up Festival – 20 to 22 September 2024

Placemaking NSW invites food and beverage retailers to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for the Power Up Festival at White Bay Power Station from 20 to 22 September 2024.

Applications close 2 June 2024, 11:59 pm.

Who should submit

  • The EOI is open to food and beverage retailers.
  • Retailers may include food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage suppliers.
  • Products should showcase locally produced food and beverages. Placemaking NSW strongly encourages applicants who reside or work in the Inner West area and White Bay Power Station local surrounds to apply.
  • Power Up Festival is an inclusive event and Placemaking NSW encourages applications from a diverse range of applicants.

Assessment criteria

Applicants should have the ability to service all 3 days of the Power Up Festival, from 10am to 10pm.*  

If successful, a total flat fee of $400 will apply for trade across all 3 days.

Applicants will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • Product range / offer, business bio and imagery
  • Local focus
  • Ability to service the opening hours of the event
  • Space / set-up requirements.

Each criteria has a 25% weighting.

What happens next

Applicants will be notified of the outcome in late June 2024. Successful applicants will be contacted by Placemaking NSW to discuss further detail and planning.

Programming and opening hours of Power Up Festival are at the discretion of Placemaking NSW. All successful applicants will be required to enter into a contractual agreement with Placemaking NSW.
