Operational policies
At the Greater Sydney Commission the decisions, behaviours and actions of our staff are guided by a comprehensive range of policies and procedures. This allows us to maintain effective, efficient and consistent operations throughout the organisation.
- The Code of Ethics and Conduct policy: clarifies the standards of behaviour and performance expected of staff in the performance of their duties. It gives guidance in areas where staff may need to make personal and ethical decisions to uphold the values of integrity, trust, service, and accountability expected of public service employees.
- The Gifts, Benefits, and Hospitality policy: guides staff on the expected standards of behaviour relating to gifts, benefits, and hospitality offered undertaking their official duties.
- The Conflicts of Interest policy: provides a framework to help staff identify and manage conflicts of interest in a clear, accountable, and timely way.
- The Fraud and Corruption Control policy: acknowledges the Commission's zero tolerance of fraud and corruption.
- In accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, the Commission publishes details of all contracts with private sector organisations valued at $150,000 (including GST) or more.
The Greater Sydney Commission has its own Code of Ethics and Conduct policy that applies specifically to the Greater Sydney Commission members.
The Commission makes available on request any policy that affects or is likely to affect members of the public.
