Matt Endacott

Matt Endacott

Matt Endacott is an urban planner who lives and works on Awabakal Country. Prior to founding his own consultancy in 2020, Matt held positions at AECOM, the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC), and UrbanGrowth NSW.

He served on the Board of the Newcastle Art Gallery Foundation (2018-2020) and in 2019 was the only Australian selected for the Next City Vanguard, a global gathering of ‘40 under 40’ emerging urban leaders. Matt has also played a significant role in securing the future of Newcastle’s historic Victoria Theatre.

Matt has extensive experience working with regional and rural communities, including those in Greater Newcastle. He holds a Masters in Urban Renewal and Housing from the University of NSW, as well as a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons1) from the University of Sydney.
